| The TLP-S70U is an LCD-based projector that's light, sleek, cost-effective, and simply does the job. We tested it inside and outside, and the 2000 lumens really made the difference versus the 1200 lumens unit from another vendor we were using last year for the summer testing cycle. We found it to be very quiet, steady, and simply a performer. At $1399 list, $1250 street, it's a fine investment for your in-home and outdoor needs (especially the outdoor needs where we're using it for the summer movies in our town). |

| A portable projector should be slick looking, light, and quiet. The TLP-S70 hits a home run on this front. It's only 4.9lbs and has a compact carrying case for all your components. |

| This unit has just about everything you'd want in a mass market unit: 2000 lumens, 800 x 600 native resolution, composite and S-Video connections, audio in, internal speakers...all the standard pieces. What else would we like? HDTV resolution, but we're going to pay more for that. We really like RF remote controls more than infrared, but just about everyone has infrared. Also, Wi-Fi is becoming more than a nicety. But for $1399, this is a great set of features. |

| For what the Toshiba advertises, the S70 simply performs as advertised. We had no problems with the image, even when blown to 10' by 20'. Excellent picture. |

| At $1399 list, $1250 street, this is right in the sweet spot for the high-grade mass market projectors. You can spend less, and get less. For us, the S70 does the job nicely as a portable home projector that we can use inside, outside, upside down! |
